This Warranty Policy sets out the general warranty framework for Duopudun energy storage products. Specific product documents, warranty cards, quotations, sales contracts, or project agreements may provide additional or different terms.
1. Standard Warranty Periods
The warranty period generally starts from the documented delivery date, invoice date, or another date stated in the applicable commercial documents. Where proof of delivery is unavailable, Duopudun may use a reasonable alternative date based on production, shipment, or sales records.
2. What the Warranty Covers
During the applicable warranty period, Duopudun may provide a remedy for verified defects in materials or workmanship arising under normal installation, use, and operating conditions.
3. Available Remedies
- Remote diagnosis and technical support.
- Repair guidance or replacement parts.
- Repair of the affected product or module.
- Replacement with the same or functionally equivalent product or component.
- Another reasonable remedy agreed in writing.
Duopudun determines the appropriate warranty remedy after technical evaluation.
4. Warranty Claim Requirements
- Order number, invoice, or other proof of purchase.
- Product model and serial number.
- Clear description of the issue and operating conditions.
- Photos, videos, alarm codes, logs, or test data where available.
- Installation information and wiring details where relevant.
5. Exclusions
- Improper installation, wiring, commissioning, maintenance, or repair.
- Installation or service by unqualified or unauthorized personnel.
- Use outside specified voltage, temperature, humidity, altitude, load, communication, or environmental conditions.
- Misuse, abuse, accident, impact, liquid ingress, fire, flooding, lightning, pests, corrosion, or external contamination.
- Grid abnormalities, surge, unstable power, incorrect generator use, or incompatible equipment.
- Unauthorized modification, disassembly, firmware changes, or removal of serial labels.
- Improper transport, storage, or long-term storage outside stated requirements.
- Normal wear, cosmetic changes, consumable items, or expected capacity reduction consistent with normal battery aging.
- Force majeure or events beyond reasonable control.
6. Battery Capacity and Normal Degradation
Lithium batteries naturally lose usable capacity over time and with cycling. Normal degradation consistent with product specifications, operating history, temperature, depth of discharge, storage conditions, and usage is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect. Any capacity-performance commitment stated in a specific product warranty or written contract will prevail.
7. Installation and Safety
Products must be installed, commissioned, operated, and maintained in accordance with Duopudun documentation, applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and local regulations. Failure to follow required procedures may affect warranty eligibility.
8. Shipping for Warranty Service
Do not ship lithium battery products without written instructions. Warranty returns may require approved packaging, dangerous-goods documentation, designated carriers, and prior authorization. Responsibility for transport costs will be determined according to the verified cause, location, contract, and agreed remedy.
9. B2B, Distributor, OEM/ODM, and Project Orders
For B2B, distributor, OEM/ODM, tender, and project sales, the signed contract, accepted quotation, purchase agreement, technical agreement, or project-specific warranty terms prevail over this general Policy where they differ.
10. Transferability
Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranty rights apply to the original purchaser and may require proof of purchase. Transferability may depend on the product, market, and contract.
11. Limitation
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the warranty remedies described here are the primary remedies for covered defects. This Policy does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
